Dr Antonio Calderon

Antonio Calderón is Senior Lecturer in Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy at the Faculty of Sport at UCAM, Catholic University of Murcia, http://international.ucam.edu/ (Spain). He currently is heading the PhD Programme in Sport Sciences. He also is co-convenor of the network 18 “Research in Sport Pedagogy” of the European Educational Research Association (EERA) and main researcher of the group "ARETE: physical education, sport and performance", where it is being developed national and transnational projects related to the education, sport and pedagogical models in different levels. From 2013 to 2016 has been co-editor of the journal CCD (Cultura_Ciencia_Deporte, http://ccd.ucam.edu/index.php/revista). Antonio’s research interests are mostly focus on student learning in physical education and lately on social media and digital technologies for learning in teacher education.
